MCCBCHST AGM Report

At the MCCBCHST AGM last Saturday (1st August), the following were elected to the Exco :

President : Rev Dr Thomas Philips (CFM) 

Deputy President : Mr B S Tan (Tao) 

Vice Presidents : Mr Harcharan Singh (Sikh), Ven. Meng Ji (Buddhist), and a yet to be named person from the Malaysia Hindu Sangham (MHS).

Hon. Sec-Gen : Mr Prematilaka KD Serisena (Buddhist - Sasana) 

Dep. Hon. Sec : Mrs Gopini (MHS)

Hon Treasurer- General : Mr Tan Hoe Chiew (Tao) 

Dep. Hon- T-G : Mr Bak Singh (Sikh)

Rev Dr Hermen Shastri and Kong Beng are Exco members and Mr Sam Ang and Br. Augustine will be co-opted as members of the Exco. 

Mr Sam Ang has been appointed one of 4 Hon. Auditors to audit the MCCBCHST annual accounts. 

The 5 religions have been asked to give RM 5000/- each (by October) as a levy to meet expenses since there is no dinner to be organised for fund-raising this year.
