YMCA Penang celebrates its Golden Anniversary Grandly

Under the theme: “Reaching Out- Transforming Lives,” the YMCA in Penang organized a memorable Thanksgiving Service and an Anniversary Dinner on 26th September 2009.

Besides local guests, there were fraternal guests from YMCA’s in the region.

YM Lim Guan Eng, who was the guest of Honor at the Dinner, praised the YMCA for its great moral and character-building efforts that has contributed greatly to the development in Penang.

Rev. Dr. Hermen Shastri, the General Secretary of the CCM, highlighted how YMCA Penang has always provided the ecumenical space for Christians from different churches to work together.
