CFM Engages in Dialogue with Sabah Church Leaders

The CFM Executive Committee held a meeting in Kota Kinabalu on 29^th October 2009, in order to provide an a opportunity to get to know the Leaders of the Sabah Council of Churches, and to engage in a friendly dialogue.

The leaders appreciated the work of the CFM in addressing national issues of concern to Christians, and expressed the need for effective communication of the issues to congregation in Sabah.

Many suggestions were put forward as to how CFM and the Sabah Council of Churches can work together more closely.

Bishop Ng Moon Hing, the current Chairman of CFM expressed appreciation for the warm hospitality shown to the CFM Executive by the Sabah Church leaders and expressed hope that we will be able to work together for the good of all Christians in the country, especially in Sabah and Sarawak.

There are plans to hold another Executive Meeting in Kuching to get to know the church leaders of the Sarawak Association of Churches.
