Felicitations to His Majesty

The Heads of Churches and the delegates of the 12th Triennial General Assembly of the Council of Churches of Malaysia which met from 23-26 April at Johor Bahru extend their prayers and felicitations on the occasion of the Installation of His Majesty Tuanku Mizan Zainal Abidin and Her Majesty Tuanku Nur Zahirah as the 13th Yang Di Pertuan Agong and Raja Permaisuri of Malaysia.

We are confident that under His Majesty's rule, the Government of this nation will do its utmost for justice, peace and goodwill to prevail in our land.

We also express our sincere hope and humble aspiration that under His Majesty, the fundamental rights and religious freedom of all citizens enshrined in our Federal Constitution will be upheld.

We pray therefore that this will indeed be a happy and joyous day for their majesties and the citizens of this great country.
