Dear Y.A.B. Prime Minister, 

The Christian Federation of Malaysia wishes to congratulate you on your appointment as the 6th Prime Minister of Malaysia.

We welcome your concept of One Malaysia in recognition of the contributions of all races towards the development of the country and may such recognition rally and spur all Malaysians on to greater heights despite the difficult times we are now facing. 

We, as the Christian community in Malaysia, wholeheartedly support your desire to see Malaysia a united and prosperous nation and we are willing to work with you and your government to build a democratic, prosperous, multicultural and multireligious nation based upon the foundations of mutual respect and trust. 

We pray that you and your government may be granted strength and wisdom from the Almighty God (Allah) to implement the reforms you have in mind for the good of our nation and all communities of Malaysians. 

We will also pray for you, your family, and the Ministers who will make up your new Cabinet.
